Article 1: Platform Definition and Legal Nature
The EDU ZOON platform is a website and digital service that operates as a neutral technical intermediary connecting users for the purpose of displaying, exchanging, selling, and purchasing educational content of various types, including summaries, academic research, exercise solutions, exercises, and digital educational files. The platform also allows for the provision of live educational lessons through the Classroom system. The platform is not, under any circumstances, a party to the contractual relationship that arises between the seller and the buyer. Its role is limited to providing the technical infrastructure, payment methods, and communication means. The platform relies on an internal digital currency called "Jewels" for all internal transactions, which is the only approved means of purchase within the platform.
Article 2: Definitions
For the purposes of applying these terms: "User" means any natural person who has created an account on the platform and accepted these terms. "Seller" means any user who displays educational content or services, whether free or paid. "Buyer" means any user who acquires educational content or services. "Product" means any digital file or live lesson displayed through the platform. "Jewels" means the internal digital currency exclusively approved for conducting transactions within the platform.
Article 3: Legal Capacity Requirement
To use the EDU ZOON platform, the user must have full legal capacity and be at least eighteen years of age. Any false declaration regarding age makes the user fully legally responsible without any obligation on the part of the platform.
Article 4: Geographical Scope
The platform's services are provided exclusively within the territory of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. All transactions and legal effects resulting from the use of the platform are subject to the provisions of the applicable Algerian legislation.
Article 5: Nature of Permitted Content
Content permitted for display or exchange through the platform is limited to educational content of an academic or pedagogical nature. This specifically includes summaries, research, exercise solutions, exercises, and digital educational files in various approved formats.
Article 6: Prohibited Content and Responsibility
Users are prohibited from publishing, displaying, or selling any content that involves academic theft, infringement of intellectual property rights, conflicts with public order or morals, contains misleading or false information, does not match the advertised title or description, is incomplete, or violates Algerian legislation. The seller bears full legal responsibility for the content they display or sell, and the platform is exempt from any civil, criminal, or contractual liability arising from such content.
Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you upload to EDU ZOON. Ensure you have the rights to share all materials you post.
Article 7: Live Lessons System (Classroom)
Lessons through the Classroom system are provided on a live broadcast basis only, without recording or saving. The buyer is prohibited from recording the broadcast, reproducing it, or downloading it by any means. The platform does not charge any commission on Classroom sales; its income is limited to the sale of Jewels. The seller bears full responsibility for the quality of the broadcast, connection, and content provided.
Article 8: Classroom-Related Disputes
In case the seller is more than one hour late for the lesson, or if the broadcast is interrupted due to a technical fault on their part for more than one hour, or if content violating laws or terms is provided, the buyer has the right to file a report enabling the recovery of Jewels after verification of the facts. The seller's refusal to enable the platform's monitoring team to attend the lesson via the designated email is considered a serious violation warranting accountability.
Article 9: File Ownership and Usage Rights
The seller has the freedom to determine how their product is displayed, whether for viewing only or for download. Once the product is downloaded, the buyer bears full responsibility for how it is used or redistributed. The platform is not responsible for any illegal use of the product after its acquisition.
Article 10: Rating System
The buyer has the right to rate the product or seller according to the system adopted within the platform. The platform reserves the right to delete or modify any rating containing abuse or violation. The platform does not guarantee the accuracy or truthfulness of the displayed ratings.
Article 11: Accounts and Violations
The platform reserves the right to suspend or close an account or freeze the Jewel balance whenever it is proven that the user has engaged in fraudulent activities, uploaded prohibited content, manipulated the system, abused others, or violated any provision of these terms.
Article 12: Jewels System
Jewels are the only means of purchase within the platform. Users may transfer them as gifts to other users. Owning multiple accounts is allowed; however, only Jewels resulting from sales operations are transferable into money. For withdrawal, a minimum equivalent of one thousand Algerian dinars is required, and processing is completed within three working days through the approved payment method. The platform is not responsible for any delay resulting from technical failures beyond its control.
Article 13: Refund Policy
Jewels may be refunded after purchasing a product only if it is proven that the product violates laws, contains prohibited content, or if the buyer is dissatisfied according to the approved technical conditions. The price of unused Jewels may also be refunded within a period not exceeding three days from the date of purchase, with the user bearing all related fees.
Article 14: Account and Data Protection
The platform is committed to taking necessary technical measures to protect accounts; however, it is not responsible for breaches resulting from user negligence or disclosure of their confidential data. Jewels or accounts are not compensated except after providing evidence proving the breach occurred.
Article 15: Personal Data
The user must provide correct data during registration, including at least name and email address. They may include additional optional data. Data is processed in accordance with Algerian laws related to the protection of personal data.
Article 16: Product Storage Duration
Products remain stored within the platform permanently. The seller may delete their product from public display without affecting the buyer's right to access it. The platform also reserves the right to delete any violating product, provided that the size of a single product does not exceed one gigabyte.
Article 17: Advertisements
The platform may display commercial advertisements, including Google ads, without any resulting obligation toward the user.
Article 18: Legal Responsibility
The platform is exempt from any responsibility for academic theft, infringement of intellectual property rights, or damages resulting from the use of products. It is not a party to disputes between the seller and the buyer except within the limits of applying these terms.
Article 19: Modification of Terms
The platform reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. The user's continued use of the platform after publishing the modifications constitutes explicit and final acceptance of them.
